Spring 2027 applications
Spring has a separate application and team-formation process. Application dates and available tasks are not listed here yet; check general ARC announcements or contact leadership for current information. Working on a task in Fall does not guarantee placement on that task in Spring. Read Spring research and team formation for more context.
Membership
ARC operates as a project group within the broader Data Science @ Georgia Tech student organization.
- Who can join: Georgia Tech students across programs, including online students, and alumni interested in participating. Resource and course eligibility must be confirmed separately.
- Membership and resources: see the FAQ for participation routes, dues, and resource access.
- Technical background: Python, Git, and prior project-based experience are strongly recommended.

Group structure and schedule
The group operates on a two-semester academic cycle.
- Fall Interest Group & Preparation: an introduction to competitive data science and applied research, with optional academic credit.
- Spring Competition Research: team-based competition and research work, with placements confirmed separately.
